It’s difficult to imagine a world without Cell Phones. It makes our life simple and easy so, in turn even they need your slight attention and bit of care. Show your love for mobile phones by just following some of these useful tips that would not only increase the life of this “little but useful device” but also prevent yourself from the -world of inconvenience.

TIP-1:FOLLOW A PROPER MOBILE REGIME: Mobile phones also require a proper regime. It includes cleaning up of the screen, battery as well as insides on a regular basis.

SCREEN: You can always go for a screen protector and use a screen cleaning cloth or an alcohol free wipe to remove dust, never use your fingers for cleaning. It is always advisable to use a mobile case.

BATTERY: You can clean the battery of your cell phones on a weekly basis by using a soft paint brush or a damp cotton cloth. In order to conserve your battery power you can switch off the flash of your camera, turn down the brightness and the backlight timer. Do not play games too often on your phone.

INSIDES OF MOBILE: Even the insides of the cell phone should stay clean. You need to open it up and rub out the dust. Use an air duster or your breath to blow away the dust.

TIP-2: LIQUID AN ENEMY TO CELL PHONES:
Always prevent your cell phone from being wet as even a small drop of water is enough to corrode the internal components and can cause damage. Never use it with your wet hands. In case, if your phone gets wet leave it to dry completely before you switch it on and still if it doesn’t work contact the product manufacturer.

TIP-3: PREVENT THE CRUSHING DISASTER:
Handle your phones carefully as dropping up of cell phones on a hard surface area can lead to cracked displays or dislodged internal components. So, you can always go for a belt clip or a holster to avoid such disasters.

TIP-4: WELL SAID “EXTREME OF EVERYTHING IS BAD”:
Just like you, your cell phones should be protected against extreme climatic conditions. Specially in a country like India, where we have extreme climate you should avoid exposing your cell phones to the blazing hot sun rays as it may spoil the battery or the transceiver that pulls in radio signals and transform it into voice. Similarly, in winters avoid it from extreme cold climate.

TIP-5: BOOST YOUR PHONE WITH INSTANT ENERGY CHARGE:
Same as overeating can cause dizziness to you, over charging can cause destruction to your cell phones. You can always refer your phone manual to know the adequate time for charging. It is advisable to completely charge your phone rather than a partial charge.

TIP-6: THE SWIFT OF ACCESSORIES:
We use several accessories to our cell phones; the most common of all is headset. Headsets are made of fragile material so they need to be handled properly and gently.

TIP-7:THE PERSONAL TOUCH:

a)Do not leave your phone out of your sight as much as possible and avoid lending your phone to others even under your supervision due to the security reasons.

b)Turn off the ringer of your phone when you are in a meeting, school/college, theaters or attending religious ceremonies.

c)Recharge your cell phone on a regular basis whenever required to enjoy the uninterrupted service.

d)If your cell phone has an option to install some anti-virus software do that without delays.

e)In case of theft always block your number and report it to your nearest police station.

f)You should always keep your phone’s IMEI number and SIM number handy and make sure to write it down beforehand.

These are some of the handy tips for your smart gadget. We would appreciate and welcome if you wish to add some additional useful tips to this blog.

seriously ,we all gave a careless attitude towards cellphones ,,,the device on which we r almost dependent ,,,,if you talk abt a headset or a charger we generally have the habit wrapping the cords avoid wrapping the cords around the headsets. This will potentially weaken the cord and this may deteriorate or deform the plastic covering that surrounds the cord. In addition, do not twist or twirl the cord while using it. This is a common problem among headset users. They unconsciously and habitually do this. As a result, the headset either loses its quality or becomes easily damaged.

It's estimated that 15 mobiles are stolen every one minute in Mumbai.Pickpockets have also become 'mobile' with their mobile-snitching techniques. It's time that you insure your favourite talking gizmo.A mobile's insurance cover saves against a variety of risks like fire, theft, riots, strikes and terrorist activity. But, many have a more comprehensive coverage bringing within sweep malicious damage, accident and fortuitous circumstances.

If you have a Sim Card in your phone please do not try to access features you do not have, like the internet, this can lock up your Sim card and then it would have to be replaced, losing all stored info.

For touchscreen handsets I’d recommend using a thinner quality as the thicker the protector the less receptive the display becomes to touch. All handsets already have a plastic sheet covering the display but I’ve noticed that that somehow manages to peel off too quickly. In this you want to make sure your display is still protected form scratches

Select the official battery quality assured. Official battery more durable and secure than the fake batteries are often sold at prices much cheaper.
